INVITATION TO PARTECIPATE

IN THE MEETING OF THE  ITALIAN NO WAR NO NATO COMMITTEE

FOR AN  EUROPEAN POLICY OF PEACE AND NEUTRALITY

Dear Madam/Sir, the Italian No War No NATO Committee invites you to take part in the Rome meeting and to give your contribution with an intervention.

On October-November 2015,  NATO forces will carry out In  Spain, Portugal, in Italy and the Mediterranean one of the largest naval and aerial exercises  since 1945,  based at Trapani Birgi (Sicily),  with the participation of more then 35.000 soldiers and hundreds of war planes and ships: TRIDENT JUNCTURE . These are experiments for war against our neighbours, where Italy and Europe are being used as the US-NATO aircraftcarrier for present and future aggressions.

Developped from a defensive organization into an offensive one, NATO is dragging us from war to war.

In the Middle East and North Africa, in conjunction with its Gulf allies and jihadi extremists, it is the leading force in the destruction of States and nations.

In Ucraine, following the coup d’etat that did away with the legitimate government, it instructs Neonazi units, promotes civil war and threatens Russia.

War, NATO and connected terrorist organizations cause the flight and migration of entire populations.

The upgrading of Western nuclear armaments and the multiplication of military bases around the world threaten a new world war.

Italy and Europe sprout with NATO bases and firing-ranges where new colonial aggressions are being prepared and new weapons of mass destruction are being tested.

The fall-out of these activities affects land and people under form of social devastation and lethal pathologies.

Italy’s military commitment, under total NATO control, costs tax-payers 80 milion Euro per day, that should be employed for vital social needs. The same for other European countries.

We urgently need to oppose the madness of this war policies and their collateral effects of destruction, poverty and terrorism.

Let us rise to defend peace and regain sovereignty and neutrality.

The No War No NATO Italian Committee launched an appeal for the exit of Italy from NATO, for a neutral Italy, that already gathered thousands of signatures in the site http://www.noguerranonato.it  and in the FB page www.facebook.com/noguerranonato
