For those of you in the New York Metropolitan Area and those coming from afar for the Left Forum, I am writing to let you know that Peace & Planet has organized two workshops.

The No to NATO/No to War workshop, with Bahman Azad, Jackie Cabasso (chair) and myself will be this coming Saturday afternoon, May 21 from 3:30 to 5.  We’ll be in room 1.123 of John Jack College, 534 W. 59th St.  Two few people understand NATO as a global, imperial and nuclear alliance, and as we approach this July’s NATO summit, we thought we should do what we can to bring the peace and justice movements into a deeper understanding of what NATO actually is. http://www.peaceandplanet.org/left-forum-event-no-to-natono-to-war/

The Imperative of Nuclear Disarmament with Jackie Cabasso, M.V. Ramana, Jim Anderson (chair) and myself will be our second Peace and Planet workshop at the Left Forum, also Saturday.
