WBW Endorsement of NO to NATO Call for international actions against the NATO Summit, Brussels July 11-12, 2018

Dear sisters and brothers,
World Beyond War fully embraces the call for international actions against the NATO Summit scheduled for Brussels, July 11-12.

• We advocate for major reductions in military spending
• We pledge opposition to NATO’s nuclear role and all nuclear weapons. We urge our governments to sign the nuclear weapon ban treaty and to work towards nuclear disarmament
• We continue to oppose NATO expansion
• We oppose the increasing militarization of Europe, any so-called European Defense Policy, and NATO’s push to a new Cold War
• We demand an end to these wars and to NATO’s military interventionism
• We demand an end to the militarization of the Mediterranean Sea and all military action against refugees
• We demand disarmament for development

Our demand to the U.S. government is clear: NATO must be dissolved!
