Dead dogs, PFAS, and NATO bases
Here’s a follow up report from NBC News on PFAS that ran on U.S. nationwide TV last night and this morning. I featured in their first report. I told them about all of the dead dogs reported by people who live in communities near US military bases as a testament to the heavily contaminated surface water and suggested they go find that story. You know how dogs drink from puddles? I’m happy it came out in this report. I think it’s a nice touch that may get people to think about the hazards of living close to a NATO military installation. Of course, the stuff kills humans too, but people seem to be tired of hearing about that.
