Dear friends and initiatives,

we are excited to invite you to our first international webinar: 

“Nuclear Weapons and Peace Activism in Germany and Worldwide” 

on the 23rd June (3pm-5pm Central European Summer Time)

We are a local peace organisation, called Peaceworkshop Mutlangen (Friedenswerkstatt Mutlangen e.V.), located in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. As a grassroot organisation which was established after a huge peace movement in the European history in the 1980-s, we would like to share our experience from the past, tell you more about our current actions in the ‘Pressehuette’ and the national campaign ‘Buechel is everywhere. Nuclear-weapon-free – now!’. Furthermore, we want to share our vision of a nuclear-weapon-free world for the future and to discuss, how we can support the UN Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty (TPNW). 

In the webinar you will meet our veterans, who have been active with the Peaceworkshop since almost four decades. Also, young representatives, who were born in the time when the Cold War has ended and so never experienced the confrontation between the East and the West when nuclear weapons have been developed, will be part of the webinar.
