This past Monday evening’s webinar “Authoritarianism or Democracy” was truly exceptional.  Noam Chomsky, as always, was on point in reviewing what are now four existential challenges facing us. The historian Van Gosse provided a comprehensive and chilling run down of the dynamics and dangers of Trumpian authoritarianism, and Ty dePasse reminded us of the threatening and too often deadly authoritarianism experienced by People of Color in the U.S. on a daily basis. And each provided us with roadmaps for campaigning to defend and restore democracy.
