International Meeting and the World Conference – Hiroshima (August 4 – 6)

Venue: Hiroshima Prefectural Sports Center (Green Arena)

We are sending you the provisional schedule and program of the 2022 World Conference against A and H Bombs (August 4 – 9, 2022).  For the first time in 3 years, the World Conference will be held in-person in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You are welcome to join the programs if you plan to travel in the two cities. Major conference programs will also be live-streamed online. We welcome all of you to join us online.

2. Relieving and working in solidarity with Hibakusha; Succeeding Hibakusha’s experiences and disseminating the realities of A-bombing

• Nuclear-Free, peaceful and foreign bases-free Asia and the Pacific: Role of peace movement (English-Japanese simultaneous interpretation provided)

1. Support and solidarity with victims of Agent Orange – Screening of the movie “Living in lost time” and talk session with its director Sakata Masako
2. International rules for peace based on the UN Charter and elimination of nuclear weapons: discussion on crisis in Ukraine (English-Japanese simultaneous interpretation provided)
3. No to nuclear sharing and revision of Article 9 of Japan’s Constitution
