As warmongering attitudes by governments in Europe continue and a call for diplomacy is nowhere to be heard, we turn to Ireland, where the Galway Alliance Against War (GAAW) has been campaigning since the US invasion of Afghanistan for peace, Irish neutrality and against the use of Shannon Airport as a military base for US and NATO wars, making Ireland complicit in the death of millions.

We speak with Niall Farrell of GAAW about the long struggle against NATO, economic constraints of peace under capitalism and how neutrality, even if it sounds impossible, is still worth fighting for.
