| I am just back from my participation in the events that commemorated 70th anniversary of the Bravo H-bomb shot on Bikini Atoll which was 1,000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima A-Bomb. A report will follow, but most disturbing were the reports that detailed research which documents that Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Bikini Hibakusha were used a Guinea pigs. This was confirmed to me in 2000 by a senior Department of Energy official, but the detail this time around was staggering. As one U.S. official put it at the time, “They are more like us than mice.” My thoughts took me to Dr. Mengele at Auschwitz.
And, as most of your will now, if you thought concerns about nuclear war have become anachronistic, Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threat in response to French President Macron’s commitment to defend Ukraine certainly tells us otherwise.
