On 19th May at 6pm, Greater Manchester CND is hosting a briefing event on ‘Global Britain’ and the Integrated Review (here).

Following the publication of the UK’s Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy 2021, this event will introduce some of its implications.

There will be presentations from: 

• Dr Kate Hudson(Gen. Sec., CND) on nuclear weapons policy changes in the Review, including warhead increases. 
• Dr Jenny Clegg(CND Council) on UK-China relations and provocative plans to sail HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier to the Pacific. 
• Dr Dave Webb (Chair, CND) on UK space policy, the militarisation of space and the involvement of US aerospace companies.

The Chair is Ellie Kinney, Co-Convenor of Youth & Student CND.
