I hope this email finds you happy and healthy. As CODEPINK’s Cut the Pentagon National Organizer, I understand how difficult the current situation is for peace activists. It is disheartening to see the devastating impacts of war and feel that there isn’t much we can do about it. However, we mustn’t give into these feelings of hopelessness, it is imperative that we strengthen the peace movement and organize. This is why we are inviting you to join us for the Poor People’s Assembly and Moral March on Washington on June 17-19. 

 

The weekend-long event is a great opportunity for you to connect with other like-minded peace activists and mobilize against racism, militarism, ecological devastation and poverty. We will host a variety of activities, including teach-ins on the costs of war and plan for future actions in the fall.
