With the Support of INES and IALANA Europe
US Nuclear bombs are stills stored in five countries in Europe: Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Turkey.
July 1, 2010, 6:00 p.m.
In: Taksim Square Hotel (Pera Meeting Room),
Sıraselviler Cad. No.15, Taksim – Istanbul >> Map
We would like to invite members of the freedom movement and other interested parties to a meeting within the framework of the ESF to discuss and to reflect on how we can jointly increase the pressure to remove these nuclear weapons from European soil.
The unsatisfactory events of the NPT Conference in May have increased the importance of this issue on the agenda. Taking action for the removal of thse US nuclear weapons in Europe is necessary, they must be more intensive and better coordinated – also in Europe—and also among the freedom movements of these five nations.
Together, we would like to discuss this issue further.

Hopefully we can come together to concrete agreements, but in any case, we should share what we have to say about this, what we are doing, and what we can do better.
