Luftwaffen ein Jahrhundertprojekt in Angriff zu nehmen. Spanien kam hinzu. Die veralteten Kampfflugzeuge Deutschlands (Eurofighter) und Frankreichs (Rafale) sollen nicht schlicht durch ein neues Kampfflugzeug ersetzt werden, sondern durch das Kampfflugzeugsystem FCAS (Future Combat Air System).

Alexander Neu ist Abgeordneter der Partei Die Linke im Deutschen Bundestag und Obmann im Verteidigungsausschuss. Theisen hatte im Sommer 2019 vor dem US-Stützpunkt Ramstein, am United States Africa Command in Stuttgart, am Bundesverteidigungsministerium in Bonn und an der Hachenberg-Kaserne im Siegerland militärkritische Flugblätter verteilt.
